  • This one is a bit trickier to pin down, since Strassburg spent several months abroad in 1913 and again from late 1913 to mid-1914 and may well have encountered a US Navy ship in the Americas during either of those cruises. Given the placement of the ship's guns, it was definitively taken before the July 1915 refit when the ship's armament was altered.
